Lovebirds die during prolonged sex-act
A young couple died due to asphyxia in a car with running air-conditioner after a prolonged sexual act.
It is feared that the death of lovebirds Charu (16) and Sameer was due to the emission of toxic gases from the air-conditioner duct.
Police ruled out the suicide theory as the bodies of the lovebirds were found in a naked condition.
The death sparked a debate in schools and colleges of the city on how to educate young boys and girls not to indulge in coitus and cohabitation.
The case was not treated as an isolated case but as one which served as a whistle blower for lakhs of youngsters who are going stray. Some organizations like All-India Women’s Association and “Saheli” even blamed a Tamil nadu actress for encouraging pre-marital sex.
Lions Club district president Sadhana Kalra said that if girls are encouraged to enjoy pre-marital sex and if they are exposed to pornography then society could suffer as our culture is different from West.
All-India Women’s Association local leader Rashmi said that while placing too much restriction on the young was bad, they must be educated not to cross limits. She lambasted the Tamil Nadu actress for encouraging pre-marital sex.
The Pioneer Montessori School with 15 branches and several other educational institutions also organized seminars.
Educationists blamed films, free availability of porn stuff, provocative dresses. There have been many instances in Agra, Allahabad and Lucknow when school and college girls have been caught watching pornography in cyber cafes.
In the sensational incident the police found several packets of wafers, two empty cold drink bottles and several contraceptives.
The naked bodies were found lying on the rear seat. The girl Charu was a student of class 12 of a prestigious college in Gomtinagar and daughter of a well- known city jeweller.
No injury marks other than minor bruises was found on Sameer’s elbow, police said.
Police first thought it to be a case of suicide but later said that the death was due to asphyxia in the car as its doors were locked while the air-conditioner was running.
On the other hand Charu’s father said that her body bore distinct injury marks pointing to murder.
The car was found parked in a garage in Saadatganj area.
