Woman Encourages Daughter To Fight On Bus
TAMPA, Fla. — Authorities have released a video that shows a Tampa woman get on a school bus and encourage her daughter to fight with another child.
Police said Shayla Muldrow boarded the bus March 2, and demanded to know which child had slapped her 9-year-old daughter. After a 10-year-old girl raised her hand, police say Muldrow told her daughter to go back there and handle your business.
The video shows several minutes of the girls fighting, while the bus driver called for help. Muldrow’s other daughter also jumped into the fight, but Muldrow pulled her back.
Eventually, Muldrow and both daughters got off the bus.
The bus surveillance tape was released Tuesday.
Shortly after the fight, Muldrow was charged with battery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and trespassing on the bus. The battery charge was later dropped because Muldrow did not hit anyone.
